Farm Animals

The Farm Animals practice has been serving the local farming community for over 42 years, and during that time practice has changed a great deal.
Our aim is to provide a modern day service whilst retaining the traditional values on which this practice prides itself on, a very high level of clinical diagnostic work.
We are in a very mixed area, with Dairy, beef and sheep providing a very mixed daily workload. We are involved at all levels and scales of production.
Individual animals obviously are still treated to help them recover to full production as well as safeguarding their welfare at all times.
We pride ourselves in our personal service and rapid response that our clients have become used to.
The practice is now approved to complete the Farm Improvement Plan (FIP) Animal Health Measures (AHM) of the KT programme with an approved Knowledge Transfer Participant in Beef, Dairy or Sheep.
We are also approved in the following Animal Health Ireland Programmes – BVD, Johne’s disease and Cell Check.
