Microchipping

Microchipping is a simple procedure to help identify your pet if lost or stolen.

Microchipping involves the injection of a chip, about the size of a grain of rice, under your pets skin. It may be performed at the same time as other routine treatments such as annual booster vaccinations.

It is now a legal requirement in Ireland to have your dog microchipped and registered. It is also a requirement for the issuing of a Pet Passport.
